I spent all of yesterday evening thinking about what had happened in the morning.
The deliberately pierced handrail
And... the strange things Emma said.

How could she be so sure, that the sound was 'someone' falling?

Diary Reconstruction
Emma Woods:
Doctor, Mr. Scarecrow moved
I walked into the garden and heard him talking, then he hugged me. He became warm!
Emily Dyer:
Miss Gardener, take me to see Mr. Scarecrow.
Emma Woods:
Hmm.....where have you worked in the past?
Emily Dyer:
I had clinic, and occasionally did some volunteer work for a mental asylum.
Emma Woods:
I see. The doctor is a good person.
Emma Woods:
So...what did you do at the asylum?
Sometimes the asylum would demand me to treat certain patients, but that was... quit rare.
Emma Woods:
"Demand"?
Emily Dyer:
There were some treatments that I didn't agree with.
Emma Woods:
...I see.
Emma Woods:
Finally, Mr. Scarecrow has become a normal person.
But I'm kind of worried. This doesn't seem like a healthy temperature.
Emma Woods:
Why did you come here?
Emily Dyer:
To fulfill a pledge.
Emma Woods:
What did you pledge?
Emily Dyer:
I promised a girl that I would cure her. But I was too young, too timid.... it is my biggest regret.
Emma Woods:
She...how is she now?
Emily Dyer:
Pretty well, or probably....quite the opposite.
Emma Woods:
...
Emily Dyer:
Didn't you want to take me to see Mr. Scarecrow?
Emma Woods:
Right...right!. We must hurry!
Emily Dyer:
Hallucinations created by hypochondria are in line with the patient's thinking patterns. Her memories should not have changed much.
Something must have happened to this scarecrow...something which made it "warm".
Seems like Mr. Scarecrow doesn't want to talk to me.
Emma Woods:
There's nothing I can do. Let him stay here alone for a while.
I am worried.
The scarecrow shows no change,
which means her condition has worsened.
I must cure her
Kreacher Pierson didn't show up today.
I guess he has given up on her.
